We received the letter at the end of October 2020 according to which the PAL-V Liberty had passed the stringent road tests. Therefore it is the first flying car in the world, with a licence for use in road traffic.
„ This is a big step forward for the company and for the world. Settlements and approvals for issuing the licence plate are still underway, but it is only a matter of time. We have proved that it is possible to build an aeroplane suitable for road traffic, meeting the applicable rules. PAL-V carried out comprehensive test programs on various testing grounds, high-speed ovals, brake tests and a number of other means. The last test was performed in August, accomplished successfully. PAL-V may be driven from now on on the European highways, and will undergo a duration test program in the following 3-4 months. Serial production is planned presently by the end of 2021.
