Heat treatment
One of the key milestones in BORSODI MŰHELY LLC. ‘s development was the construction of our 1-billion-forint heat-treatment facility.
Constructions began in the spring of 2008, and the plant was officially inaugurated on 11 July.
The approximately 250 m² facility is equipped with the latest heat-treatment technologies, allowing us to meet and satisfy even the strictest technical requirements of today. In addition to heat-treating our own components and products, we also offer heat-treatment services for our customers.
Our heat-treatment capabilities include:
- Treatment in vacuum and oil
- Gas nitriding (carbon nitriding)
- Shim hardening (cementing and oil hardening)
- Nitrocarburizing
- Stress relieving
- Tempering
- Annealing
- Ageing
- Precipitation hardening
- Austenitization
- Washing
Parts for heat-treatment services can be delivered and collected on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Order Requirements
To ensure efficient and accurate processing, please follow the guidelines below:
- Submit a completed and signed Order Form (available on our website).
- Group parts by material grade, heat-treatment technology, and required hardness. Each group requires a separate Order Form.
- Items with differing material grades or heat-treatment specifications are treated as individual articles and must each meet the 10 kg minimum weight. (We accept smaller quantities, but our pricing is based on 10 kg.)
- If you require a measurement report, please indicate this on the Order Form. Regardless of the request, our team will always perform measurement and quality checks after heat treatment.
- First-time customers may settle invoices in advance by bank transfer or by cash, based on a Pro Forma Invoice.
- New partners are asked to fill out the Data Sheet available on our website.
- Minimum order value: 108 EUR (43,200 HUF) for the entire order (not per technology).
